I pretty much assumed you'd use the MPC as a pretty much total master here, which now that I think about it, probably wouldn't be the most convient way to play the Juno at times. Repeat step 5 for track 2, 3, 4, whatever. Select the track you want to record to and record what ever note data you want. From what I understand, you seem to want two tracks that play the same part/channel of the Juno, but differnt variations of notes.so you'd probably have say track 1 hitting out to 1A, and track two hitting out to 1A as well.ĥ. Repeat steps as necessary changing channels as necessary. This information will play the part/channel of the Juno you have selected.Ĥ. With the 1000, move on to Pad Bank B in order to get the pads to send out note on/off data in order to play the Juno. So, if you have output A connected to your Juno, and you want to deal with MIDI Channel 1 of your Juno, then select 1A.ģ. Select the MIDI field and change the value to match the channel and output you need. Select a Track (Track 1, 2, whatever) and the Program you created.Ģ. What follows here is assuming you have your Juno properly setup.ġ. I'm not saying this to be shrewd, but if none of this is making any sense, you need to go back and RTFM. As for what you are trying to do, it's a given that you are going to want the thing in "performance" mode and you aren't going to be wanting to deal with the global channel. You're going to want to take note of all of this. You also probably have a global MIDI channel on your Juno. I haven't messed with the new Junos, but I'm going to run off assumption that you have a basic "program"/"patch" mode, and then another mode that deals with multi-timbral setups.probably called something like "performance"/"multi" mode.
